Topics

Using narrow strips of paper, learn how to fold beautiful three dimensional stars. The tradition started in the 1800’s by a Moravian math teacher, as a way to teach his students about geometry. Students will follow specific, clear directions to make one or more stars and attach a hanger. Paper and hanger options will be explored.

The class is limited to a small number of students. If you are interested, we recommend registering as soon as possible.

Your instructor will provide the following:

  • Colorful paper strips

  • A wire “needle” made by the instructor for threading a hanger

  • The Origami Resource Center directions for making Moravian stars.

Skill Level
No experience needed.
