Flour Sack Embroidery

Create an embroidered flour sack towel (tea towel)! Learn how to select flour sacks, threads, and tools to set yourself up for success. You’ll explore how to plan your colors, thread weights, and stitch variety to create a dynamic and balanced design, while mastering a few essential embroidery stitches and learning how to combine them.

This class is beginner-friendly, with plenty of opportunities to challenge and inspire more experienced embroiderers as well.

Instructor will provide the following:

• Embroidery hoops

• Flour sacks

• Embroidery floss

• All required tools

Students are asked to bring:

• Reading glasses or magnification, if needed

Skill Level 

No experience required.
