Dip Your Own Twin Flame Candles

Make your own hand-dipped candles! Hand-dipping is a traditional craft that has largely faded in favor of machine-made candles, and this class offers a chance to reconnect with the beauty and intention of the process. We’ll walk through each step together, from start to finish, using shared equipment and supplies so you can explore the craft before investing in your own setup.

In this hands-on class, you’ll:

• Leave with at least four hand-dipped twin flame candles
• Learn about their various ritual and symbolic uses
• Connect with others through shared stories and the history of candle-dipping
• Experience the rhythm, warmth, and meditative nature of this timeless craft

Your instructor will provide the following:

All candle making materials and supplies

Students are asked to bring:

An apron if desired

Since your class runs over the lunch hour, you may want to consider bringing a lunch or snack.

Age Requirement 

Students ages 16 and older are welcome to attend this class. Students ages 16 and 17 may attend without a parent/guardian in attendance as long as MMFS is provided with written parental permission by email to info@marinemillsfolkschool.org.
