Petra Guenthner-Johnson

Petra Guenthner Johnson is a fiber artist who lives and works near the Kinnickinnic River in River Falls, Wisconsin. She studied art at the University of Wisconsin–Superior from 1998 to 2001 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Visual Arts from North Dakota State University in 2003. Petra believes that art has the transformative power to foster deeper understanding, connection, and beauty within ourselves and the world around us. Since 2007, she has shared her passion for art with people of all ages, most recently leading workshops and summer camps through the River Falls Community Arts Base and The Phipps Center for the Arts.
