Jeff Bartol

Jeff Bartol is a fine arts painter, trained in architecture and graphic design at the University of Minnesota. He currently lives in Forest Lake, MN, and his paintings can be viewed at JeffBartolArt.com.

Born in rural Boulder CO, Jeff grew up surrounded by a pastoral farm life, shadowed by the Rockies and fed by Boulder Creek. He was imprinted with a love for nature: animals, mountains, water, trees, fields, plains and deserts; how all these things are integrated, and the role of mankind with nature. A move to Wisconsin, and later to Minnesota, led to an even greater appreciation for the diverse landscapes of the Midwest, particularly the glacier carved Driftless area, its lush hardwood forests, and the rugged, pristine solitude of the Boundary Waters.
