Mushroom Birdhouses

Take flight with creativity! During this clay class, you will discover the magic of pinching and molding clay by hand. With guided instruction, you’ll shape and design a whimsical, functional birdhouse inspired by the woodland world.

This hands-on class invites you to explore form and texture while creating a hanging birdhouse that’s both beautiful and practical. Perfect for beginners and curious makers alike, this class offers a joyful way to connect with clay and nature.

Projects will be available for pick up at Marine Mills Folk School after they have been fired. Students will be notified once they are ready.

Students are asked to bring:

Apron or workshirt

Skill Level 

No experience required

Age Requirement

Students ages 12 and older are welcome to attend this class. Ages 12-17 must register with another registered adult.
