In this class, students will explore the medicinal properties of a variety of wild mushrooms and their extracts. Together, we’ll perform a dual extraction and create a tincture while discussing best practices and learning how to avoid common hazards in the delicate process of making mushroom tonics.
Your instructor will provide the following:
- Mushrooms for extraction
- tincturing bottles
- extraction processing equipment
Students are asked to bring:
- Aprons
- Since this class runs over the lunch hour you may want to bring a lunch or click HERE to learn about local eating opportunities.
Skill Level
No experience required.
Age Requirement
Students ages 12 and older are welcome to attend this class. Ages 12-17 must register with another registered adult.
