Topics Heather Mashuga
Join local herbalist Heather Mashuga for a hands-on elderberry syrup–making class, rooted in seasonal wellness and plant knowledge. While elderberry syrup is often associated with winter health, its nourishing and immune-supporting properties make it a wonderful ally year-round. Elderberries are known for their antiviral qualities and ability to support circulation, reduce inflammation, and gently strengthen the body as we transition into spring.
In this class, you’ll learn how to make your own elderberry syrup, explore the combined medicinal properties of the herbs used, and gain insight into identifying and harvesting elderberries. We’ll also talk about how to support your body through seasonal shifts and discuss herbs that promote balance, resilience, and renewal.
Each participant will leave with handouts and their own bottle of elderberry syrup to enjoy at home.
