Country Dance Workshop

Develop your social dance skills in a low-risk, high-fun environment! This class focuses on two-step, waltz, and line dancing, giving you the confidence and comfort to hit the dance floor with ease. You can come solo or with a partner. Everyone will have a chance to try both leading and following while we dance to Americana music.

Country Dance Workshop is focused on dancing to have a good time, not to perform. Giddy up and get ready to move!

About the Instructor: Emily May

Students are asked to bring:

• water bottle

• breathable clothing (wear layers!)

• shoes that scoot (any shoes that are comfortable and slide on a smooth surface)

Skill Level

No experience required, all abilities welcome! Please note any accommodations needed upon registration, and we will do our best to support your needs.

Age Requirement 

Students ages 16 and older are welcome to attend this class. Students ages 16 and 17 may attend without a parent/guardian in attendance as long as MMFS is provided with written parental permission by email to info@marinemillsfolkschool.org.
