Step into the heart of Polish home cooking with this hands-on class dedicated to two of the country’s most beloved dumplings: pierogi and uszka. You’ll learn dough-making techniques, create classic fillings like sauerkraut and mushroom, and practice folding and cooking methods—from boiling to pan-frying—and how to serve them beautifully. Along the way, we’ll explore the cultural significance of these dishes in Polish holidays and everyday life. Tasting and sampling will, of course, be part of the experience!
Your instructor will provide the following:
- soup to sample uszka
Students are asked to bring:
- apron
- rolling pin
- cutting board
- favorite knife
- container for samples
- since your class runs over the lunch hour, we recommend you bring a lunch or click HERE to learn about local eating opportunities.
