Have you ever wondered how antique spinning wheels survived for so long? Let’s delve into wheel maintenance planning and tinkering!
Do you have a spinning wheel that needs a tune up? Perhaps it’s an inherited wheel that doesn’t quite work, or maybe one that popped a drive band, or perhaps there were kids at a demo and now some things are sticky, or maybe you took a few months off from spinning and it’s squeaking in some unknown location when treadled… Bring your wheel to our drop-in maintenance clinic, and Nancy and Christen will help you diagnose your wheel, give it a spa treatment, and create a plan with you to keep your wheel in good working order for years to come.
Who this class is for: folks with a manual spinning wheel who want to care for it long term.
