Pet Portrait Collage – Saturday, January 3, 2025

Create a one-of-a-kind collaged portrait of your pet using printed imagery as your guide. The instructor will introduce materials and techniques before giving you plenty of work time to experiment, along with tips and tricks to refine your process.

Collages will be created on 11×14″ watercolor paper using magazines, acrylic matte medium (applied with a brush as glue), and a mix of torn and cut paper pieces. Both individual instruction and group feedback will be offered throughout the class.

You’ll choose the image you’d like to recreate, and all materials and instruction will be provided. Please send your reference image to the instructor before the class start date for printing.

Your instructor will provide the following:

• paper
• glue
• brushes
• magazines
• scissors
• paper towels

Students are asked to bring:

• students do not have to physically bring anything but they will need to email to the instructor an image of the pet they would like to collage a few days prior to the class.

Skill Level

No experience required.

Age Requirement

Students ages 18 and older are welcome to attend this class.
