Create, Connect, Age Well Presents…

Watercolor Paper Notecards with Marcia!

Learn how to use wet-on-wet watercolor techniques to create gorgeous abstract landscape art.  Participants can choose up to 6 of their pieces to mount with complimentary “framing” onto notecards. As time permits, participants will be encouraged to write thoughtful notes and prepare them for sending, using sealing wax.

Students will take all of their art home, as well as materials for 6 mailable cards, if not completed during class time.

Your instructor will provide all materials needed:

• Watercolor paints, brushes and water
• pre-cut watercolor paper and framing cardstock pre-folded notecards, and envelopes 
• Sealing wax and the tools to use it will be available to use if desired

Instructor Marcia Dressel is a retired teacher-librarian with a lingering passion for picture books. She enjoys creativity in many forms including the kitchen arts, watercolor painting, old school correspondence, community choir, and play-acting.

Each Create, Connect, Age Well session includes:

• An instructor-led Folk School learning experience that exercises the brain and stretches the imagination!
• Social connection and reflection time
• A safe and welcoming environment to try something new!
• Coffee, tea and snacks

Age Requirement
Students ages 65 and older are welcome to attend this class.

Skill Level 
No experience needed.

NOTE:  Be aware we may cancel class if a minimum number of registrations is not reached. We work to balance a teacher’s need to plan for a class with students’ busy schedules — not an easy task. Please register as early as possible!
