Beginning Photography for Kids Ages 9-14

Join instructor and St. Croix River Valley photographer Carl Wegener, whose mission statement is “Empowering Kids with Knowledge and a Camera,” in this beginning photography class for kids.

Students (ages 9-14) will learn how a camera works, explore the fundamentals of photography, and build a strong foundation they can continue developing on their own. Each participant will choose a digital camera to keep and spend class time getting comfortable with its features, settings, and basic functions through hands-on practice.

About the Instructor: Carl Wegener

Your instructor will provide the following:

Camera retail display, various learning aids, lights, battery charging station, tripods, and all class supplies.

Students are asked to bring:

A parent or caregiver, and a drink and snack.

Skill Level

No experience required.

This class is for ages 9 – 14.
