Diane Gamm
I took early retirement from 9-5 jobs to pursue my creative interests: pottery, photography and more recently, botanical printing and natural dyes. My art studio is a converted ice fishing house on wheels I moved into my backyard in Minneapolis, to be close to my garden plants for natural dyes and botanical printing. Along with my pottery, I sell my botanical printed scarves and other textiles through Etsy and local art fairs. I worked as part-time program staff at Wilder Forest for many years, working with all age groups on outdoor education/recreation and team building. I also coordinated the arts and crafts program, focusing on nature and farm related themes. I have a master’s degree in Therapeutic and Outdoor Recreation from the University of MN and worked at Anoka Metro Regional Treatment and the Vinland Rehab Center, as well as the MN Department of Education.
