This class introduces students to Hmong embroidery needlework, called paj ntaub (flower cloth). You will learn about the history, motifs, and symbols of the Hmong paj ntaub. You will then create an embroidered ornament by selecting from a variety of traditional motifs and using cross-stitch techniques to bring your design to life. Once complete, the piece will be finished as a hanging ornament.
