This class will take place over 3 Saturdays for a total of 6 hours:

Saturday, February 14 – 9:30am – 11:30am

Saturday, February 21 – 9:30am – 11:30am

Saturday, February 28 – 9:30am – 11:30am

In this class, we will cover the basics of watercolor painting, including mixing, blending, brush techniques, and how to use essential tools. Students will work with 140 lb watercolor paper and learn the fundamentals of composition to create balanced, expressive paintings.

If you have some experience please bring a sample of your art. Feel free to bring any painting supplies you might have or you can use what your instructor provides. If you would like to purchase the art supplies you use in class they will be $45.

Your instructor will provide the following:

  • paints and paint sets
  • 140 lbs wc paper
  • brushes and other tools needed to paint with

Students are asked to bring:

  • If you have done some painting, bring a sample of your art and any watercolor art supplies.
  • Bring $45 if you would like to purchase the art supplies you use in class.

Skill Level

Both beginners and intermediates are welcome.

Age Requirement

Students ages 18 and older are welcome to attend this class.
