Learn the art of hand-sewing Cathedral Windows with textile artist Kirsten Aune. In this class, you will explore this timeless quilting technique using your own fabrics or those provided by Kirsten. She will guide you step-by-step through the process, helping you blend traditional craftsmanship with your own personal style. With this hands-on and encouraging approach, you will create a beautiful quilt that is both meaningful and unique.

Your instructor will provide the following:

  • fabric for those who sign up for it
  • needles
  • thread
  • rulers
  • cutting mat
  • scissors

Students are asked to bring:

  • For those using their own fabric: 1 yard fabric plus scraps
  • Ironing board if you have one
  • Rotary cutter and mat if you have them
  • Since your class runs over the lunch hour, we recommend you bring a lunch or click HERE to learn about local eating opportunities.

Skill Level

Ability to use a needle and thread and a rotary cutter
