Join Kate and Laila to learn how to use two colors of yarn to follow a chart and create a “speed swatch.” In this class, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to begin your own stranded colorwork project—and your finished swatch can even double as a cozy mug rug! Charts will be provided and students will bring their own yarn and needles to work with.

Your instructors will provide the following:

  • Charts for students

Students are asked to bring:

  • Size US 5–7 knitting needles (16” circular preferred, though double-pointed needles will also work)
  • Two contrasting colors of DK or worsted-weight yarn

Skill Level

Students must know how to knit and purl.

Age Requirement

Students ages 18 and older are welcome to attend this class.
