Duluth-based textile artist Kirsten Aune, known for her bold, colorful textiles, will teach you how to design, place patterns, apply beautiful color combinations, plus a few secrets to make satisfying textiles for your home.

Design and stencil fabric for your own unique 12×12 throw pillow.  If time permits, you could make an second throw pillow (additional $20.00 materials fee, payable on-site directly to instructor).

Instructor will provide:

  • Instruction, guidance and all materials needed
  • Fabric cover and Pillow Form

Students are asked to bring:

  • As your class is scheduled over a lunch hour, we highly recommend you bring a lunch or click here to learn about local eating opportunities in the area.
  • Apron

Age Requirement

Students between the ages of 16-18 may attend without a parent/guardian in attendance as long as MMFS is provided with written parental permission.  Email is okay.
