Upcycled Wool Hyacinth Flowers – Saturday, May 17, 2025

Add Springtime beauty to your home by creating your own arrangement of three wool Hyacinth flowers in a glass flower pot.  Choose from a selection of colorful wool for the flowers and leaves, to design your very own unique flowers.  All materials for the project are provided.  You may just get hooked on the fun of making something beautiful out of upcycled wool!

Instructor Etoile Jensen designs and creates beautiful wool items including wreaths, trivets, bowls, flowers, pine cone arrangements and pin cushions. Her most popular item is a hand-crafted wool rose that can be used as an essential oil diffuser. The beautiful colors and unique textures of wool provide great inspiration for her art.

Her wool creations are made with either repurposed or hand dyed wool. The repurposed wool is sourced from blankets, skirts and coats that she finds at thrift stores and second-hand websites. The hand dyed wool is sourced online or at fiber festivals.

Etoile has been actively creating with wool for 8 years, and has won two blue ribbons for her work at the Minnesota State Fair.

Your instructor will provide all materials needed for class, which include:

• Wool for flowers and leaves
• 3 green sticks for stems
• 2 pieces of fabric for construction
• 1 small jar as vase
• rice and decoration for top of jar

Students should provide:

• SHARP scissors
• Hot glue gun with extra glue sticks

Skill Level 
No experience needed.

Age Requirement
Students ages 18 or older are welcome to attend the class.
