Parking

Please note that you may need to park several blocks away from the Festival grounds and walk to the event.

The Festival is located on the grounds of the folk school at 550 Pine Street. You may access the festival grounds from either Pine Street or 5th Street; there is no main entryway.

ADA parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in the folk school’s parking lot at the corner of Pine Street and 6th Street.

The folk school is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and many of the streets are narrow. Please respect our neighbors and observe no parking signs and barricades. Parking is restricted to one-side only on most streets close to the folk school.

A parking lot is located next to Christ Lutheran Church on 5th Street and Oak Street. Please note that the Church is holding its annual Grandma’s Attic Garage Sale (9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) and Sloppy Joe’s luncheon (11:00 a.m. start time), so parking will be limited.

If you park in downtown Marine on St. Croix, follow posted signs regarding parking restrictions and please respect our downtown businesses’ reserved parking spaces.

Weather

Please take note that this is a rain or shine event. Please watch the forecast and come prepared. All activities will proceed as planned unless weather threatens the safety of our vendors and guests.

Cash or Check Sales Preferred

Our 70+ participating vendors are excited to show you their hand-crafts and items for sale. Please note that due our rural location and poor internet reception, credit card transactions are not guaranteed. Therefore, cash and check sales are the preferred method. Credit card sales may be accepted at some vendors and at the Marine Mills Folk School Hub.

Accessibility

The Marine Mills Folk School Festival is located on flat grassy turf and natural elements may impede navigation by wheelchair and walker. ADA portable restrooms and parking are available.

Food and Beverages

Food sales are provided by the Scandia-Marine Lions Club, Marine General Store and Mason’s Sweets. Beverage sales are provided by the River Valley Girl Scouts. You are invited to bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages. Seating for food consumption is provided.

Please note that the building will be closed. All activity will take place outdoors.
