Entrelac knitting

Entrelac, highly valued for its 3-dimensional texture, has the appearance of a basketweave pattern comprised of knitted strips. However, it’s knitted in one piece! Instructor Carol Stec will teach you the secret to this mysterious technique.

Students will start by casting on, then build tier upon tier of triangles and diamonds to get a good start on a cowl that they will finish at home.

From Carol: “I enjoy a fun, relaxed atmosphere. That’s why I always do my best to keep my classes fun and relaxed by making sure each student gets all the individual help they need.”

Students are asked to bring:

  • Set of U.S. size 8 [5 mm] straight needles or U.S. size 8 circular needle 24” or longer
  • 4 stitch markers to fit your needle,
  • printed pattern (One week before class, Carol will email each student a link to the free pattern. Please download it and print it out to bring to class.)

Students ages 18 and older are welcome to attend this class.
