wreath making

Start your gift-giving season off right! Handcraft a beautiful holiday wreath with fresh greenery, then take home both the knowledge to make more wreaths plus other handmade gifts from our Holiday Makers’ Market!

Invite your friends and family to join you for a fun, informative, and festive class guided by one of our most popular artisan-instructors, Kirsten Skoglund together with Ann Machmaier. Offered over three weekends, choose the time that works for you to create holiday memories and a beautiful wreath to gift to someone or to display in your own home.

We will also have seasonal treats and beverages for you to enjoy, as well as a small selection of handmade gifts to peruse.

Don’t worry if you’ve never made a wreath before. Beginners are welcome to learn in a supportive environment. Maybe it will become a new tradition! No matter what your cultural or holiday traditions, gift giving is easy and meaningful with Marine Mills Folk School.

Your instructors will provide:

  • Fresh, local greenery
  • Other decorative items to adorn your wreath
  • Garden shears
  • Wire snips
  • Wire wreath frame
  • Floral wire
  • Floral tape
  • Cookies, hot drinks, and other snacks for your enjoyment

Students are asked to bring:

  • Gardening gloves
  • Apron
  • Any additional decorative items you would like to add to your wreath
