Herbal Remedies: Make a Soothing Salve – March 23, 2024

Come join local herbalist Heather Mashuga in a hands-on salve-making class. Want to take that next step and feel comfortable turning all the amazing herbs you have learned about into topical remedies? We will make a couple of different herb-infused oils, turn those oils into salve, and learn how to utilize them. Each participant will leave with a couple tins of salves and handouts.

Herbal medicine focuses on herbs to prevent and treat illness and promote health and has been used for centuries by indigenous cultures, from the Americas to China, India, and Nepal.

Students are asked to bring the following materials:

• Snacks if needed, as there are no food facilities at the school

No experience needed.

Age Requirement
Students ages 18 and older are welcome to attend this class.
