Fused Glass Jewelry Workshop – November 23, 2024

Join Twin Cities-based glass artist Susan Tracy for a new workshop designing and creating four fused glass pendants and one pair of earrings, just in time for holiday gifts or new jewelry to wear.

You will learn the basics of glass fusing, using different techniques for each project.  You will work with colorful
sheet and accessory glass, and sparkly materials like dichroic flakes.

Your new creations will be fused for you after class by the instructor in her studio, and mounted on
silver-plated findings. They will be available for pick-up at Marine Mills in a couple of weeks.

You will receive a silver-plated chain for each necklace, and sterling silver wires for your earrings.
No experience with glass is necessary. All materials are provided.

Students are asked to bring the following materials:

• eye glasses if needed for close work

Due to the use of glass frit and mica during class, students are requested to wear the provided KN95 masks.

Skill Level 
No experience needed.

Age Requirement
Students ages 18 and older are welcome to attend this class.
