(Waitlist) Intro to Spinning on a Wheel – March 16, 2024

Learn to spin wool on a wheel and leave class with a skein of your own handmade yarn.

Join Sharon Knutson from Knitting My Way Home and learn the basics of spinning wool into yarn. Sharon will provide you with the knowledge to begin or continue your life-long exploration of the art of spinning wool. This class is for beginners and others who would like to perfect their spinning skills.

All materials needed to become a spinner will be provided by the instructor. Wheels will be provided by the folk school. There will be different types of wheels to practice on during your class.

Students are asked to bring the following:

• If you have your own working wheel, you may bring it to class. No broken wheels, please. 
• As your class is scheduled over a lunch hour, we highly recommend you bring a lunch or click here to learn about local eating opportunities in the area.

Age Requirement
Students ages 18 and older are welcome to attend this class.

No experience needed.
