Beginning Spinning on a Wheel (ages 10+) – November 23, 2024

Where does thread come from? Have you ever wondered how a spinning wheel works, or how your wool socks or sweater was made? This class will explore the fundamentals of spinning: wheel parts, treadling, fiber update, drafting, plying, setting and finishing.

All fibers will be provided by the instructor. Wheels will be provided by the folk school.

Age Requirement
Students ages 10 and older are welcome to attend this class.

Skill Level
No experience needed.
