Woodworking Studio Coming in Spring 2023!

After much discussion and planning with our woodworking friends, we’re excited to announce that we are opening a woodworking studio in Spring 2023!

Woodworking classes have been on our course calendar since we opened our doors in October 2018. We currently offer Wooden Paddle Building, Spoon and Open Carving, Kolrosing, and more — and the demand continues to grow.

The challenge, however, is that our instructors supply their own tools and materials for classes and free open carving sessions.

We are working to raise $2,500 goal to open a new woodworking studio by the spring of 2023. Plus, thanks to a generous donor, we have a matching grant to help us reach our goal! The first $1,000 of gifts will be matched, dollar for dollar. That means your donation will be doubled!

We have a location picked out for the woodworking studio at the school, but we need your help to refurbish and equip it. Having a dedicated woodworking studio will benefit our entire school community by opening up classroom space for fiber arts, visual arts, crafts and our many other courses.

Please take advantage of the generous matching challenge and give now. We can’t wait to share our new woodworking studio with everyone in Spring 2023!
