Jim Miller
Jim Miller (Ph.D., geology, University of Minnesota) is an Emeritus Associate Professor of Geology at the University of Minnesota Duluth (2008-2016) and, formerly, was a Senior Geologist with the Minnesota Geological Survey (1983-2008).
His 40 years of geological research has focused on the geology of the Lake Superior region, especially northeastern Minnesota.
Throughout his professional career, he has been active in educational outreach to Earth Science teachers and the general public through field trips and lectures on the geology of Minnesota.
