Carrie Obry

Carrie Obry is the executive director of the Midwest Independent Booksellers Association, a nonprofit that helps independent bookstores thrive. In the past, she’s been an editor, food writer, and blogger. She is passionate about creative food and drink as a way to celebrate community and bring friends and family together. She lives with her human and animal family in a drafty old Victorian on the East side of St. Paul, where she has a custom kombucha fermentation station and grows an herb garden to flavor her brews.
