Anna Lowenthal Walsh

Anna Lowenthal Walsh is a Minneapolis based artist and maker. She loves to design and build working with wood, paint and textiles, and to consistently experiment with new materials. Recent projects in wood include the build of a teardrop camper last summer, and a backyard warming hut last winter. She paints both quiet natural landscapes and bold bright colorful paintings. Anna lives in Minneapolis with her husband and three children.

Designed by Anna for students who identify women and girls, and who want to become more proficient at using power tools.  This class will increase your comfort in using basic power tools such as a cordless drill, random orbital sander, reciprocating saw and jigsaw.  Participants are also encouraged to bring their own power tools that they want to learn to use properly and safely.
