Hand Embroidered Ornament for Beginners, November 18, 2023

Looking to make a few presents for this holiday?  Have you wanted to learn embroidery but have been too scared to start?  This class is for those who want to learn how to embroider but would like an easy, quick project to do.

Learn a new skill that is both practical and beautiful! This introduction to hand embroidery will teach you several basic embroidery stitches and gives you all the skills you need to customize anything from a kitchen towel to your canvas sneakers. Each student will complete a set of winter-themed ornaments.

Your instructor will provide the following materials:

• Embroidery hoops appropriately sized for the project
• 1 embroidery needle, embroidery floss in appropriate colors to complete the project
• 1 needle threader
• fabric to embroider on
• a hand-out with information covered in the class as well as additional resources

Students are asked to bring:

• We highly recommend you bring a lunch as this class does go over the lunch hour. Covered beverages only at the table,students are welcome to take breaks to eat away from the work area.

Skill Level
No experience needed. Beginner class.

Age Requirement
Students ages 18 and older are welcome to attend this class.
