Flour Sack Embroidery – January 6, 2024

 Join experienced embroidery instructor Alycen Brothen for a day of traditional embroidery on flour sack towels. 

This class will cover: selection of flour sack towels for embroidery, prepping towels for embroidery, transferring designs, and stitching. 

Your instructor will provide the following materials:

• flour sack towels
• needle
• selection of embroidery threads
• design

Students are asked to bring:

• embroidery hoop (3.5-5 inches in diameter)
• sharp embroidery scissors
• magnifier/readers if needed

No experience needed. Prior experience with any type of needlework will be helpful but not necessary.

Age Requirement
Students ages 18 and older are welcome to attend this class.
