Topics Katherine Buenger

Join instructor Katherine Buenger and learn how to make an elegant bracelet. These bracelets are inspired by the designs of the Sami people, who are the native people from the far northern parts of Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Russia.
Using tin thread (fine pewter 4% silver wire wrapped around a fiber core) and leather, students will learn several braiding styles and design their own unique cuff. Katherine will bring several choices of leather strips and cord in a variety of colors along with several sizes of tin thread to work with. This class involves quite a bit of hand sewing.
Your instructor will provide:
- Written instructions
- Complete kit to make one bracelet
