Classes without a minimum number of registrations may be cancelled up to 5 days in advance of the start date. If we must cancel a course, students will receive a full refund for that course. Students who cancel their enrollment more than 14 days before the class begins will receive a refund less a $50 cancelation fee to cover administration costs. In consideration of our instructors, students who cancel 14 days or less prior to the class will not receive a refund.
Materials Fees & Supplies
Many classes will include an additional ‘materials fee’ to cover the materials used by students to complete their projects in class. This fee is not collected at the time of registration, but rather is paid directly to the instructor at the time of class.
Unless otherwise noted, our classes are designed for and open to adult students (18 years old and older). However, we take our mission of encouraging intergenerational learning seriously, and so also offer classes designed for a combination of age groups. These classes will be identified through an ‘Intergenerational Age’ field on the class description. The instructor will define what the minimum age requirement is, based on the complexity of the class. Tuition rates may vary for adult/youth pairings, please see the class description.
