In this second of three classes in the Wine Series with Spillery Creative, discover just how much grape growing practices impact the flavor of wine. Taste wines that evoke a sense of place as you explore the term “terroir”. Learn about the evolution of a grape from bud to harvest and the crucial way in which vineyards are laid out. Gain new insight into what “organic”, “biodynamic” and “sustainable” means. Leave with a deeper appreciation for the rich viticultural history and knowledge of how to select wines that express the land from which they are grown.

Make it an evening with friends or come on your own to make new connections with people who are interested in learning about, and tasting, good wine.  New attendees welcome even if you missed the first class in the series, there is no homework that you need to turn in!  Consider signing up for the third and final class at this same time, so you don’t miss it!

All students must be 21+ years of age.
