This class meets in-person on Monday afternoon, August 16, 2021.
Make a stenciled textile that you can use to cover your hair (as in a headscarf) tie around a late summer fruit pie, bring on a picnic or celebration, and or use as a small table covering. Whew!
Kirsten will guide you as you create a unique textile of your own. Our past students have loved her encouragement, and willingness to share design tips. Her classes are always fun and supportive.
She will teach repeating designs, making simple templates, color relationships, overall design and balance. Hands-on feedback, inspiration and communal in-person learning.
Kirsten has exhibited and taught her craft nationally and internationally.
She lives in Duluth, Minnesota. Last fall, she opened Kirsten Aune Textiles, a showroom and store in Duluth’s Craft District.
