Did you know that you can grow fresh salad greens year-round in modern homes with no lights, no greenhouse, and little more than a cupboard and a windowsill? Growing sprouts or pea shoots is a very old tradition. Instructor Lee Olson is passionate about sharing the secret to indoor gardening! Lee will teach you how to grow microgreens in soil and you’ll go home with 5 trays (broccoli, buckwheat, peas, radishes and sunflowers) to use in your own meals. You’ll learn to grow these easy-to-grow, delicious, healthy salad greens in less than twelve days at about 10% of the cost of buying them at the market. You will also learn where to get supplies to continue growing. This workshop will have first-time and experienced gardeners discovering the fun and productive world of indoor salad gardening.
