MMFS is committed to providing a safe and supportive experience for all our students, instructors, and volunteers. We are monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely and following recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Minnesota Department of Health.
All classes have been cancelled through June 30, 2020. At that time we will reassess the changing situation regarding COVID-19 precautions.
Students registered for cancelled classes will receive an email with confirming details and will be issued a gift certificate for the full amount. Class credit can be used up until 1 year after the original class.
We know these cancellations will be a hardship on our community of artist-instructors, and we regret the disruption in the lives of our students and volunteers. We hope you understand and will join us in taking the necessary steps to ‘flatten the curve’, and in our support of health care workers everywhere.
We may be closed, but we are still connected!
In following our mission to support our community and strengthen connections, and our belief in the restorative value of our natural environment, we invite you to join us for a walk on Saturday mornings. If you are able to join us, we will leave from the folk school parking lot at 9 am and will walk for about an hour in the fresh air. We will maintain a strict “social distance” while appreciating the beauty of nature and the smiles of other ‘distant’ walkers around the village, as we all work to keep our spirits up in this uncertain time. And if you can’t join us in person, we encourage you to join us in spirit on a walk each Saturday morning, wherever you may be.
Where: Most Saturdays we meet the parking lot of the folk school: 550 Pine Street, Marine on St. Croix, 55047 . Email to confirm starting location email@example.com
When: Saturday mornings, 9 am.
General Age Policy:
All classes are for adults (18+) unless otherwise noted.
Be aware we may cancel 5 days before class date if a minimum number of registrations not reached. We work to balance teachers' need to plan for a class with students' busy schedules -- not an easy task. Please register as early as possible!
