Learn to make all natural soap with John Hanson, owner/maker of the Longfellow Soap Company.

Due to the use of lye (used as it has been for over 5,000 years in soap making), part of the class will be a demonstration, but the class also includes a hands-on section with attendee participation.

Each student will take home at least 4 bars of handmade soap and a silicone mold.  Students will also  receive a manual that includes equipment lists, sources for ingredients and where to buy locally, and John’s ‘secret recipe.’

Students should bring:   Apron

Please bring water/snacks, as there are no food facilities at the school.
