Western paper marbling is hundreds of years old, used for book endpapers and for valuable documents. Pigment is floated on thickened water and various tools are used to drag through the floating pigments creating beautiful patterns. These are captured on paper dropped over the water surface. Next we will create a simple bookbinding project that utilizes the papers created. There will be plenty left over for making cards and other projects.
All supplies will be provided by your instructor.
