Learn to Needle Felt a Bright and Cheery Cardinal!
In this fast-paced class, students with some needle felting experience will learn to needle felt a three dimensional Cardinal from corriedale wool roving and apply lifelike characteristics using merino prefelt and merino roving. Learn finishing details for glass bead eyes, mounting, and finishing as a hanging ornament, mounted on a branch.  Each student will leave with one completed bird.
Our students have loved classes with Karen Engelbretson, here's an opportunity to add to your needle felting skills with a more advanced project.  Perfect for a mid-winter day, on your own or with friends!
Supply kit provided by instructor includes: corriedale wool roving, merino prefelt and finishing supplies to make one cardinal 4-5 inches long mounted as a hanging ornament, plus 5”x5” foam pad, two needle felting needles, and written instructions.
Supply fee: $25 included in class tuition.

This class is scheduled over the lunch hour.  Please plan for a brief lunch break, many students pack their lunch and bring a beverage as well.

Class Notice:  We'll send you a reminder with specific details about your class a couple of days before the event date.  If you haven't joined us for a while,  we now collect the material cost plus the tuition when you register.
