Minnesota Public Health Commissioner Jan Malcom had some sobering information last week, as the number of Covid cases are rising dramatically.  She urged people to recognize that activities done a month ago, where something was not risk-free but might have been judged doable, may have a much higher level of risk now simply due to high levels of community spread.  Unless we all work to do the simple things of washing hands, wearing masks and staying socially distant, the level of community spread will increase the general level of risk for all activities.  Which will again put our health care workers and health care systems under significant pressure.  So while we’re suggesting it will be important to get outside for mental health reasons, please, be careful and follow public health guidelines.  We are in this together!
