We continue to walk every Saturday morning at 9 am, leaving from the Folk School parking lot. As we have from the beginning, we follow social distancing guidelines while still feeling a part of the folk school community. Join us if you can, or use the time to walk in your neighborhood. We knew we felt better after each walk, but feel even better after seeing a review of a new book by Dr. Shane O’Mara In Praise of Walking: A New Scientific Exploration which posits that walking is a “kind of behavioral preventative against depression.” Hope to see you on Saturday!
